Performing alongside world-class instrumental and vocal soloists, the Fraser Valley Symphony ( founded 1984) provides a forum for auditioned musicians to present a variety of orchestral music for the enjoyment of audiences in the Fraser Valley.

It is with an abundance of caution that we have made the decision to postpone today's Fraser Valley Symphony performance.
We know that it is snowing quite heavily in pockets west of Abbotsford and the roads are not safe for our many players and patrons coming from that direction.
The forecast for Abbotsford is snow starting later this morning and falling all day, which also means it is too unpredictable to guarantee safety for everyone coming and going.

Fortunately we have our full contingent available next Sunday, Feb 9, so we will perform Czech-Mate at Matsqui Centennial at the usual time of 3:00. Hope you can all make it then!

If you know of anyone with tickets that is not on our email list, please let them know. A cancellation notice is also posted on our website and there is signage at MCA.
