Hi friends!

Here is the link to the podcast I was part of in March. It was awesome to chat with my friend Eric about my mission, my journey as an artist, and the projects I’m working on. Check it out, and while you’re at it, follow the podcast. You won’t regret it!

Thanks again for having me.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day, friends!

This is me walking in Ireland amongst the colourful fall leaves and perfectly grazed, greener-than-green hills. It took my breath away. It made my heart beat fast. It was like the most beautiful dream. I will never ever forget it. It is forever etched in my memory.

My legs hurt after 45 minutes.
I kept walking.
I was sicker than I had ever been.
I kept walking.
I had barely slept in days.
I kept walking.
My hip ached.
My body was stiff.
And my spasms were on fire.
But I kept walking.

Because…

This photo is a reminder of my journey.

How fitting that it landed on my desktop this morning because I have a lot to celebrate.

In November 2024, when I took that trip, I had just been accepted into Toronto Film School’s screenwriting program. I was over the moon.

Two years prior, I had written my first solo show, “The Awkward Ballerina,” with TJ Dawe as my director and dramaturge. Then I was fortunate enough to perform it both at home and internationally with BETH MARSHALL PRESENTS and The Inclusivity Project (TIP Company).

Today, Two Left Feet Productions is gearing up to produce my new show, “Pregnant… And it's Still Awkward!” alongside Andrew Jamieson.

Today, I am nearly six classes away from graduating with a screenwriting diploma and a portfolio that includes a film adaptation, a short film, an original sitcom pilot… And a one-hour drama series pilot.

Today, I get to spend the evening talking with my super-talented, super-cool, all-around awesome person and good friend, Eric Gagné, on his podcast with my son and my husband in attendance.

It has been busy.
It has been challenging.
It has been tiring.
Frustrating.
Discouraging at times.

But one thing I can say is that it has been worth it.

Every. Single. Second.

To say I am grateful is an understatement. There are no words to describe the feeling when you get to do what you love.

I will always be thankful to all those who are, were, and continue to be a part of my journey. I have a special place in my heart for all of you. For your help, support, guidance, wisdom, love… thank you… Thank you a million times.

Sending good vibes, love, and kindness to all of you on this St. Patty’s Day 2026!

Hi friends,

It's been a minute! Hard at work studying, creating, and planning for the next show, so much so that I missed out on sharing with you yesterday on... PINK SHIRT DAY!

So, here's a little something I wrote:

"I Did It Anyway"

The list felt long
Neverending
Discouraging

I was only a kid
The first time I felt that gnawing
That I'm pretty sure now, I'd describe as defeat

Assumption
Forced Reality

Wrong...
So wrong...

But... how could they be wrong
Aren't they experts?
They knew
They know

I was only five
I was young
Still trying to understand
Learn
Grow

In a body that didn't always cooperate...

So...
I listened until I didn't
And...
I was quiet until I wasn't

I wanted to leap through the air
Spin in circles until I was dizzy
Glide and dance across icy patches
Feel the wind at full speed on my face
Test the balance beam like the other kids
Run like no one could ever catch me
Even crush an Ollie, skateboarding with my friends

But...

They told me that I couldn't
That I shouldn't
That I wouldn't

They said it was too hard
Too dangerous
Too risky
An impossibility

I DID IT ANYWAY!

But... then...

I was face-to-face with...

Judgement
Name calling
Finger pointing
Laughter

The opposite of kindness...

Suffocating meanness

It seemed to lurk in every corner
Waiting to jump out at any moment
Like a monster hiding in my closet

I pretended to be invisible until I didn't
I ignored it for a long time until I couldn't

Kindness had a hard way of finding me
But I found it

And instead of being angry
I made my own list...

Stand up
Stand out
Speak up
Speak out

Challenge
Push Through
Break out

Fight meanness with kindness

And if they say...

You can't
You won't
Or you shouldn't

I say...

DO IT ANYWAY!

Here’s to 2025! A year full of new adventures and creative endeavours. I cannot wait for what 2026 has in store… The projects are flowing, the laughter abundant, the memories precious, and the support and love endless. I am truly one blessed gal.

Love, light, peace and happiness to all the beautiful people in my life and those that I’ve come to meet over the last year. And to those who I have not had the pleasure of meeting just yet, maybe our paths will cross in 2026.

And to these two awesome people in the photo with me… You are my world, and I wouldn’t want to do this life without you.
