Crafted From Cow Horn
The diamond sales industry, originally established by the De BEERs family of companies has adopted such slogans as “diamonds are forever” (coined by Francis Generetty, New York, 1947 and diamonds are girl’s best friend “to sell diamond since their advertisement agencies have stressed the need to strengthen the association between diamonds and romance.
Botswana ‘s diamond s prospecting to jewellery ,”we can read ,for the first time the truly remarkable history of the discovery of diamond in Botswana and the different components that makes up Botswana diamond pipeline today ,being the supply chain of diamonds ,from prospecting to mining , to diamonds recovery to rough diamond sorting valuation, sales and marketing ,to diamond polishing and cutting and finally to diamonds jewellery manufacturing. In Botswana we can witness the route of the diamond from mine to store or from Rough to finger.
