Bangwaketse are now accepting cash for Bogadi following the emergence of Foot and Mouth in their zone.

Kgosi Motswakgakala Sealetsa of Goo Motebejana ward in Kanye told Duma fm news that Bangwaketse are staunch believers of cattle as magadi but the current circumstances do not favor that.

He further clarified that they have resorted to accepting cash as bogadi instead of marrying out a bride and expecting cattle later when the situation normalizes as this might result in conflict later when it's time to pay.
