Maybe when we focus too much on heaven we forget that Jesus came to give us life in all its fullness, now, and that although He came to give us eternal life, He later defined that eternal life as knowing God. Knowing God starts here and now, that is total liberation and freedom. lt isn't just about when we're resurrected, it's here, and it starts now. May the Lord Jesus Christ be heard.
