🌍👧🏾👦🏿 Day of the African Child 2026

Today, we celebrate the dreams, resilience, creativity, and potential of African children while reflecting on our collective responsibility to ensure their rights, education, safety, and well-being.

At Bantu Film Festival, we believe that stories have the power to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation. Through initiatives such as Bantu le Bana, we are committed to creating spaces where children can see themselves represented, heard, and valued through film and storytelling.

Every African child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, create, and thrive.

Let us continue working toward a future where every child can reach their full potential.

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month from Bantu Film Festival! 🎬✨

This Pride Month, we celebrate the power of storytelling to foster understanding, inclusion, and belonging. Cinema has the ability to amplify diverse voices, challenge prejudice, and create spaces where everyone can see themselves reflected on screen.

At Bantu Film Festival, we believe that every story matters and that African cinema is strongest when it embraces the richness and diversity of our communities.

As we continue to champion authentic storytelling, we stand for dignity, respect, creativity, and the freedom for all people to share their stories.

Happy Pride Month. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Happy Mother’s Day from Bantu Film Festival 🌸

Today, we celebrate the women who nurture stories, shape generations, and inspire change. Mothers are the first storytellers, the first dream builders, and the heartbeat of every community.

To all mothers, grandmothers, guardians, and mother figures—thank you for your love, strength, and endless sacrifices.

Your stories matter. Your legacy lives on.
