During rainy seosons farmers grows crops mainly Maize,beans,sweet cane,groudnuts,sweet melons,and sometimes when there is heavy downpours sorghum and lab lab is grown.
Water is hard to find in seokangwane cattle post, as donkeys and donkey karts are used to ferch water in a distances of 7 to 15km at nearby government standpipes.when the dry season arrives farmer's drive's their livestock to nearby boreholes at a fa distances of over 13 km.boreholes include Lokgwathi,malesane and malau.
people here are hunters and gatherers,they used dogs,traps and wires to catch wild animals for food.this animals include guniea fowls,hares,kudu
porcupines and many more. all this animals were a problems during harvesting,they broke in to farms and destroy their plants.Guns and dogs were used to hunt or drive away animals at night.
Like any other village there were other wild animals which steal livestock during grazing,dog and wild dogs such as hyenas,jakalas,falcon and large snakes such as cobra to pythons.
There are wild fruits foun in seokangwane.mothwane,moretologa,moretlwa,motstsojane,mogwana,and Mmupudu.all this plants can survive in a dry season because they grow mostly on top or near mountain's and hills,but they bear less..this fruit trees all are sometimes affected by a long droughts and pests which make some die..
