The No 1 ladies Detective movie was shot in Gaborone and surrounding areas. Kgomotso Tshwenyego acted in the movie and was also tswana language coach to Jill Scott who did the part Mmaràmotswe.
I was the drummer of GO GOBand which was doing the club scene under the leadership of Lekofi Sejeso .How we came to be friends with Kgomotso is a story for another day. The club scene was shot at tlokweng Eros Bar. It was hectic.
Kgomotso hanged around Joll Scott, Though tight, there were rewinding moments where we had memorable moments with Jill.
The song Lentswe la Baràtani (lover rock) which i produced and recorded at Dargie Digital Studios Cemented our friendship as we directed our energies towards a documentary film on the legendary story.
Little did we know that the no budget documentary film which we ço produced will be
