Lesego Tikologo, Mega Picnic Bash event organizer yesterday donated groceries and clothes to one of the families in Mokoboxane, Boteti District.

For his part, Lesego, says that it’s a pleasure to assist the affected family during these difficult times. He further stated that Covid 19 has affected everyone in the world and its time whereby they need to pull together and assist each other.

He further added that the Mega Picnic brand will continue helping the need even after this pandemic, as the motive is to make financial donations to Tsholofelo Trust in Old Naledi, where he grew up.

“As the bash, which was scheduled May2 is still new and can’t materialize, ke ne ka tswanelwa kego tsaa lemmenyana leke le bonang koke direlang teng go thusa ba lelwapa le golwantsha segajaja se sa Covid19, motho ke motho ka batho ba bangwe”

The new date for the show will be set, and communicated with public.

We encourage everyone to stay home to stay safe, maintain the social distancing and wash your hands regularly.

Attention to you all:::we hereby notify the general public,that the Mega picnic,Bash which was supposed to held on the 2nd of May 2020, has been postponed. This is due to the current health Crisis posed by Covid 19,and consequently the statement, by His Excellency Dr,Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi,declaring a state a state of emergency, in Botswana,as part of its effort curb the spread,.we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused to everyone concerned, we shall notify the public as soon,as we get an all clear and a new date will be set..For now we urge everyone to stay at home and be safe..

Corona Virus 2019

The Government of Botswana has acted on the 2019-nCoV outbreak , which is now declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, all music concerts have been suspended for the next 30 days and we have to act with great concern.

Mega Picnic Bash Team would like to remind everyone that the gig is on the 2nd of May , which means nothing has changed and it will materialize as planned. The May 2 date falls beyond the 30day suspension period however, we will be forced to change should the situation change in the upcoming days.

For all those who already got their tickets keep them safe, and all those who haven’t got them but wish to, go get them and fill up Masa Gardens on May 2.

We urge everyone to be safe, stay home and take extra care. Let’s fight this virus together. Thank you all for your support ❤️
