*TITLE THIS*

He knows the color of your eyes ;
How many times you blink in a moment because to him it is in slo-mo,
How they change each time your moods change
He is the boy that adores you from a distance or perhaps from a friend zone.
He is that into you

He knows your favorite color
How you normally pair your outfit from Sunday to Monday
And the incense that goes with each;
He has memorized every bit of your perfume
How you smell on your bad and good days,
How just your redolence shows how you feel more like your face ever will

He knows the kind of weird food you eat,
Your posture when you seat
The exact beat that resembles the sound of your footsteps

The painful part is how he knows, he is not your type
How he is not even a 50 to you
How he is the shoulder you cry on, the one you tell who you are into
But for some crazy reason, he still has that ring and holding on to it

Though you don't notice him, he sees you
Though you don't know a thing about him, he knows just how your perfect future is painted

He knows the texture of your skin,
How you wouldn't make it through the day without sunscreen and carries you a spare just in case
How he knows your allergies that you sometimes forget.

Maybe it is childish of him
Perhaps he should move on, but he won't because the little hope left keeps him moving

He knows the color of your eyes
He knows your favourite perfume,
Your favourite color
He knows the texture of your skin
He is that into you

It's no longer about the issue of a concerned citizen,
A concerned student
But believe me, we are watching
Are you?

Think of that parent who takes three jobs to feed her family
As a single parent he or she is
Think of that kid in the streets running around to find life,
Running around to provider the family
And let alone the tertiary student who's the hero of the family
The bread winner at such an age
Working their guts out to atleast survive the semester
Because they know their family depends on that monthly allowance
It's harder than it sounds.

They told us education is the key to success,
But to them it's not
Please lets keep our word to the tied knot
Because wow, I believe some have forgot:
They ignore the truth and convince us, they did a lot

We are watching, but are you?
We use application from our education but are you?

As some may say, education doesn't guarantee success...
Yes but it guarantees intelligence
It guarantees creativity towards activity,
Opens our mind to critical thinking and therefore empowering our vision.
Leading is a mission.

We are watching but are you?

Please forgive me for my disregard if you see it as one,
We have been silent but this time we stand as one
We are coming forth, waiting for no one
Let this ink speak for me if not for anyone

I'm not a burden.
Talk of burdens when we believe the seats are the ones that are.
Talk of burden when we believe the very same education that is given is the one that is
Talk of burdens when we believe the families that we have been taking care of OR rather been taking care of us are.
Talk of burden when we know deep down intelligence, creativity and not to forget physics is lacking in the house!

We are the people
We are the students
And we have earned it
And you are who you are
And I am not sure if you have earned it

We are watching
Make us believe you deserve it
