Day 3 workshops brought the festival to a close with creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning. From sharing ideas and exploring new forms of storytelling to meaningful conversations and creative expression, each workshop reminded us of the joy of learning together.

The day also marked the special launch of Tiger and the Frog, adding another beautiful story to the Bhutan Echoes journey.

Day 3 brought Bhutan Echoes 2026 to a meaningful close with powerful conversations on memory, language, identity, creativity, ageing, technology, and the stories we choose to carry forward.

From thought-provoking sessions to inspiring workshops and heartfelt exchanges, the final day reminded us that being human is not only about who we are today, but also about what we preserve, reimagine, and pass on.

Directed by Claudia Mรผller, this acclaimed Austrian documentary presents a compelling portrait of Austrian writer and Nobel Laureate Elfriede Jelinek. Through archival footage, contemporary recordings, dramatic readings, and moments from Austriaโ€™s political and cultural history, the film explores Jelinekโ€™s fearless relationship with language and her lifelong engagement with power, identity, gender, and society.

Layered, intimate, and often surprising, Language Unleashed moves beyond the controversies surrounding Jelinek to reveal the brilliant, vulnerable, and rebellious artist behind the public image. The film celebrates language not merely as a form of expression, but as a powerful instrument for questioning, resisting, and understanding the world.
