Winter is here :)
And so I find people offering me a hot cup of tea most places I go.
It makes me feel so grateful for the kindness of people.
Such a simple but meaningful act of kindness, to find warmth between the palm of your hands and feel the warmth of people even after your cup is empty.
So I hope you remember to offer someone a hot cup because sometimes that's all it takes to make someone feel better.
And if you were offered one , I hope you remember to feel grateful and pass on the warmth you felt on a cold day or night.
Happy end of the year dearest friends, stay warm.

What a wonderful & memorable National Day Celebration today in the capital 💫💛
The highlights of this special day was ofcourse His Majesty's address (which are always words of encouragement and wisdom), catching glimpses of our most precious fourth Druk Gyalpo; our beautiful Queen, Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen and their Royal Highnesses The Gyalseys 🥰
The Happiness page would also like to congratulate one of the best story tellers in our kingdom for receiving the Druk Thuksey medal🌻
And Let's not forget the amazing performances especially by the famous duo of the nation, Sonam Wangchen & Chugo💛
What a wonderful way to end the year.

Hello everyone ♡
The Happiness page just received this beautiful post of 94 year old Sherab Zangmo from Choekortoe, Bumthang. Aum Karma was a singer and dancer for Jakar Dzong and now spends her days weaving Keras (traditional Bhutanese belts ). "Her vision and hearing is amazing" says Sonam Chhoewang who sent this video for the page.

I've been meaning to work on this little video for you and myself as well because I think we could all do with a little reminder ♡ sending you love, strength and warmth for year of the tiger 🐯💫
Here's my message :
"Today I'd like to share a little reminder with u.
A reminder especially during these strange times we are experiencing in different ways but together.
The seasons will pass ,And I hope u notice their every song.
All the things we may have lossed have brought us closer to the things we've ever found.
This a reminder of the beauty all around us.
A quiet message from the world. A reminder that we have so much to look forward to and be grateful for.
So wherever you are right now and whatever it is you maybe going through, I hope u know that just like the passing seasons, these uncertainties will also pass.
I hope u cherish every moment of the happiness, especially the little ones. I hope u learn about yourself from any sadness u may be holding.

Hello there ♡ Bringing you some fresh mountain air and Good vibes this Weekend from and friends 💫
"My friends and I had planned this trip to Phajoding for a small charity activity and since winters are extremely cold up in the mountains, we got together to donate jackets for the monks up in the monastery and one of my friends who's a chef by profession decided to cook burgers and noodles for the monks! 😊 This wouldn't have been possible without our sponsors, friends and family. This was a way for us to give back to society in our own small way and it may not have changed the world but it definitely changed me. My friends have shown me there are good people who care.
Thank you to everyone who sacrifices their time and contributes to others. The world is such a better place with you all in it. Kadinche la and stay safe!"

Hello there ♡
I'm not going to use the "L" word today because I know we are quite tired for understandable reasons 😅 But I what I would like to share is this tiktok video of my colleagues dressed up in their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before an early morning flight.
While the life of a flight attendant has always had wonderful perks, the pandemic has brought on many changes and challenges in the profession. But whether we're wearing big space suit looking gear or peering through foggy face shields, I'm so proud of my friends for still keeping those smiles under their masks and always looking at the brighter side of making a flight memorable ♡
Which is why, we can always rely on good people to make uncertain times more promising, even if it is forgetting our worries for a while and remembering a small reason to smile, laugh and celebrate.

Hello everyone ♡
Wishing you a safe weekend with this motivating thought from our friend .justtravelling in Singapore.
"Hi there, I thought this would encourage my dear friends in Bhutan.
📍Happiness is here & now.
People are globally tired with the endless covid viruses. So we need a little reminder that we can find our own happiness out of any situation. Not to mention Bhutanese are very lucky to have a loving king who cares so much for his people and is prodding every high risk corners of Bhutan to ensure their safety. Praying for everyone & sending loads of love from Singapore.
The story behind this photo from my visit to Bhutan :
It was snowing and my guide hurried me to leave the monastery, worried I would fall sick in the cold. Jokingly he said, "Are you waiting for the cows to come home?"
I replied "Nope I am waiting till the monks come home".
Shortly after, this monk appeared and I happily took this photo with my shaking hands and left.
Happiness is here. Seize the day with grace, but not in a hurry."
