In this video, I have filmed the people of Bayul Kuenzang village while they were travelling to various places. They travel all the way from Bayul Kuenzang village, but the most difficult part is that they have to cross a large river known as Wangchu. After crossing Wangchu, they use to travel to various places like Lhamoizingkha, Jumja, Phuentsholing town, Thimphu, etc., in order to trade their farm products and buy their necessities. They have been using this ropeway for quite a long time, but today a long suspension bridge is complete, which brings a light of happiness and great help to the people of Bayul Kuenzang.

This ropeway is located at a place called Peeping, about 21 km north of Lhamoizingkha. Since the suspension bridge is already completed, people may no longer be using this ropeway these days.

Narphung Bazaar is a small town where villagers come to trade their fresh, homemade goods. It is a good market for both villagers and shopkeepers. They sell products like fresh and organic items such as butter, cheese, and vegetables. This market serves as the main business hub for the nearby villages. You can also find other essential items imported from India by the shop owners.

Located along the scenic Samdrup Jongkhar-Trashigang highway, Narphung Bazaar is not just a market—it’s a place where culture, commerce, and community come together. The main customers for local products are mostly travelers passing through this highway.
