To mark Menstrul Hygiene Day, students of BASW in collaboration with the college management made posters on the theme “To create a world where no women or girl is held back because they menstruate, by 2030”. Along with distributing sanitary pads and wearing red outfits.
The day aims to break the silence, raise awareness, and change negative social norms to end menstrual stigma around the world.

Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH Day) is a global advocacy platform that brings together the voices and actions of every individual to promote good menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) for all women and girls.
BA Social work second year student of Samtse College of Education observed the day with wearing RED dress and girls were gifted sanitary pads by male friends of their class.
