The Druk Challenge – Bhutan is an extreme trail running international sport event annually organized to invite and promote an elite sportsmen and women to participate in one of the most amazing, beautiful and challenging stage races world wide. The aim of The Druk Challenge – Bhutan is to become a world-class trail running event that will offer all participants an unforgettable challenge, not only
physically, but also eye-opening to an amazing culture and nature. At the same time The Druk Challenge will promote rural central Bhutan as a destiny to a new group of adventurous and nature lover tourist who will share this adventure with local villagers and their real life style. The Druk Challenge – Bhutan – is an initiative with no intention to profit. All funds remained after all costs will be donated locally to benefit children, elders and single woman from the local villages where the race will take place. Furthermore, we will encourage all the participants directly contribute to a project and/or to bring determined items to share with local people.
