A gbe yin o, a gbe wa o. 🙏🏾✨
Today we honor Baba Ògún, Orisa of iron 🛠️, war ⚔️, technology ⚙️, and the open road 🛤️. Baba Ògún is the path-clearer who gives us strength 💪🏾, courage 🦾, and victory 🏆 in the struggles of life.
Oríkì Ògún:
“Ogun lakaye, osin imole,
Ogun alada meji,
Ogun ma je ki ona wa di.”
Translation:
“Ogun, lord of the earth 🌍, chief among the divine lights ✨,
Ogun with two sharp cutlasses ⚔️⚔️,
Ogun, do not let our path be blocked 🚪.”
May Baba Ògún clear obstacles before us, protect our journeys 🚗🛤️, and bless the work of our hands 🙌🏾. Ase oooo💚🖤🪔
