Introducing the newest addition to the Village FAM: Sammi Starr Poitier! 🎶🔥✨
Known for Caribbean hits “Good To Know You,” “I’ll Never Leave,” “Pick Me,” and “Please Stay,” Sammi Starr has built an incredible career both at home and throughout the region.
He made history as the first Bahamian artist to perform at Miami’s Best of the Best, sharing the stage with artists like Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross, and went on to represent The Bahamas at the event for more than four years.
Sammi has earned multiple #1 radio hits and won numerous competitions, including the Music Masters Competition at Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival, which led to a recording contract with Sony Music Latin. He is also a recipient of the Bahamian Icon Award for Music Entertainment and the Elevation Award for Contemporary Song of the Year. 🏆
Beyond music, Sammi is passionate about mentoring young people and coaching baseball.
