OCEAN SAND, BAHAMAS is one of the final two photos narrowed down for the TOURNAMENT EARTH - BEST OF EARTH OBSERVATORY competition.

Acrylic painting classes for adults started this week with Karen Knowles Karen Diane being the instructor. There are three ladies in the Tuesday morning group and three ladies in the Tuesday evening group. This is just the beginning of guest artists teaching classes at The Place For Art.

New arrivals at THE PLACE FOR ART ! We have a great selection of narrow (half inch wide) mouldings now in stock perfect for those little frame jobs. Also new are two rustic wood mouldings, one a dark gray and the other a wide sculpted "sand dune" colour.

Our aim at The Place For Art is to please our clients, and when this particular client asked for her framing to be a surprise to her and her husband for their wedding anniversary on Thursday, all it took was a little blue ribbon!

When a co-worker leaves something on the table in the staff kitchen and then says you can have it, your next move is to come to THE PLACE FOR ART and get it framed!

This client, who is also a calligrapher, appreciates the incredible amount of time to create something like this and at the same time wanted to create an antique feel to the framing. Not only did we make her art say "WOW!" but she couldn't stop herself from saying, "Oh My God!" repeatedly.
