Good morning.

On July 10, 1973, as The Bahamas celebrated its independence from Great Britain, I had the privilege of serving as a young news reporter covering that historic moment.

Today, 53 years later, that young reporter has the honour of representing our nation as *The Bahamas' Ambassador to Cuba.

God is good. As a nation, we have continued to move *Forward, Upward, Onward Together.

Happy 53rd Independence Anniversary, Bahamas! Viva Bahamas! 🇧🇸
