King of The Conch Culinary Conch Competition! King of the Conch Fest is also partnering with Conchservation, and HEADKNOWLES!

It’s a competition, a food expo, a family fun day, a cultural hub and ultimately one of the most exciting festivals that The Bahamas has ever experienced, it’s King of The Conch Fest! On November 11th, 2017, Popeye Da Conch Celebrity will be hosting the first annual King of The Conch Fest on Montague Beach sponsored by Percy's Island Game! Here the top conch vendors from around New Providence wil

l compete in a variety of categories to vie for the ultimate title of King of The Conch. Food vendors will compete to see who has the best tasting conch dishes while families will be additionally entertained with live performances, a DJ and opportunities to engage in conch competitions like conch shell blowing and a conch style dance contest. We will highlight cultural heroes and will present the floating King of The Conch Culture Hero award to one of the founding fathers of The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay.
