Half of all U.S. states, 25 to be exact, carry Native American names. Today we will be taking a look at the 25 states and the meanings of their names. They will be listed in alphabetical order.
1. Alabama: Named after the Alabama, or Alibamu tribe, a Muskogean-speaking tribe. Sources are split between the meanings 'clearers of the thicket' or 'herb gatherers'.
2. Alaska: Named after the Aleut word "alaxsxaq", which means "the mainland"
3. Arizona: Named after the O'odham word "alĭ ṣonak", meaning "small spring"
4. Connecticut: Named after the Mohican word "quonehtacut", meaning "place of long tidal river"
5. Hawaii: Is an original word in the Hawaiian language meaning "homeland"
6. Illinois: Named after the Illinois word "illiniwek", meaning "men"
7. Iowa: Named after the Ioway tribe, whose name means "gray snow"
8. Kansas: Named after the Kansa tribe, whose name means "south wind people"
9. Kentucky: Origins are unclear, it may have been named after the Iroquoian word "Kentake", meaning "on the meadow"
10. Massachusetts: Named after the Algonquin word "Massadchu-es-et," meaning "great-hill-small-place,”
11. Michigan: From the Chippewa word "Michigama", meaning "large lake"
12. Minnesota: Named after the Dakota Indian word “Minisota” meaning “white water.”
13. Mississippi: Named after the river which was named by the Choctaw, meaning “Great water” or “Father of Waters.”

THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN HI**ER AND NETANYAHU.

The similarities between Hi**er and Netanyahu are undeniable, rooted in their shared actions and brutal ideologies, particularly in the context of war, systemic oppression, and widespread violence. Both leaders are associated with acts of genocide, orchestrating mass killings targeting specific populations—Hi**er infamously persecuting Jews and other minorities during the Holocaust, while Netanyahu has overseen decades of violence, displacement, and systemic brutality against Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon.

Corruption stains both legacies. Hi**er twisted the German state to serve his vile N**i ideology, while Netanyahu, facing numerous corruption charges, has wielded his political power for personal gain. Both leaders waged expansive, unjust wars, driven by extreme nationalism, territorial greed, and hatred. Their incessant lies fueled their agendas, manipulating public perception to justify their heinous actions and atrocities.

Racism is another striking parallel. Hi**er's A***n supremacy mirrors Netanyahu’s ethno-nationalist policies that dehumanize Palestinians, creating a full-fledged apartheid system. Both leaders demonstrated cowardice, using walls of propaganda and brute military force to shield themselves from accountability while perpetrating violence on vulnerable populations.

Both are far-right extremists, using sheer military force to subjugate and annihilate. Hi**er confined Jews to ghettos; Netanyahu has similarly trapped Palestinians in isolated, monitored zones—modern-day ghettos. Both regimes systematically employed torture, arbitrary arrests, and imprisonment, showing nothing but disdain for international laws and human rights.

Mass murders, the destruction of vital infrastructure, and dirty attacks define their military tactics. Innocent civilians—including women, children, and the disabled—have consistently borne the brunt of their senseless wars. Both ruthlessly disregarded human rights, enforcing arbitrary prisons and illegal land occupations. Netanyahu, like Hi**er, is a thief of lands, goods, and resources, continuing to seize Palestinian territory and property...
