𝗥𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗗’𝗢𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 apresenta 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘰 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰, exposição individual em cartaz no 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗼 até 4 de julho.

Na mostra, a pintura abandona a superfície da tela para ocupar o espaço, transformando-se em uma instalação imersiva que investiga luz, cor, tempo e percepção. A partir de um labirinto pictórico, o público é convidado a percorrer a obra e ativar suas camadas, que se transformam conforme o ponto de vista, a iluminação e a presença de cada espectador.

Em contraste com o ritmo acelerado do cotidiano contemporâneo, 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘰 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰 propõe um convite à desaceleração, à contemplação e à permanência no espaço.

𝗥𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗗’𝗢𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 presents 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘰 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰, a solo exhibition on view at 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗼 through July 4.

In the exhibition, painting leaves the surface of the canvas to occupy space, becoming an immersive installation that investigates light, color, time and perception. Structured as a pictorial labyrinth, the work invites visitors to move through its layers, which shift according to viewpoint, lighting and the presence of each viewer.

In contrast to the accelerated pace of contemporary life, 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘰 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰 offers an invitation to slow down, contemplate and remain within the space.

Hoje destacamos a obra instalativa 𝘊𝘰𝘣𝘳𝘢 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦, de 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶!

Realizada em 2022 no 𝗠𝗔𝗠-𝗦𝗣, a escultura percorreu o jardim de esculturas do museu propondo uma análise dos limites entre ecologia e indústria.

Se, visualmente, a obra se apropria da técnica de desmatamento conhecida como 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢̃𝘰 e da agressividade dos elementos industriais, sua composição de barro, areia e palha lhe confere um aspecto frágil e instável.

Com a ação do tempo a obra gradativamente se decompôs, representando a aproximação entre os pólos natural e industrial e a devolução à natureza promovido pelos mesmos mecanismos que a retiraram.

Today we highlight the installation work 𝘊𝘰𝘣𝘳𝘢 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦, by 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶!

Created in 2022 at 𝗠𝗔𝗠-𝗦𝗣, the sculpture stretched across the museum’s sculpture garden, proposing a reflection on the boundaries between ecology and industry.

While visually drawing on the deforestation technique known as 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢̃𝘰 and the aggressiveness of industrial elements, its composition of clay, sand, and straw lends it a fragile and unstable character.

Over time, the work gradually decomposed, representing the convergence of the natural and industrial realms, as well as a return to nature brought about by the very mechanisms that once removed it.

𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗢 | 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮 — 𝘓𝘦𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘵, 1989

O primeiro artista contemporâneo e o primeiro brasileiro a expor uma obra no Museu do Louvre, 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮 (1952 — 2016) transitou entre escultura, instalação, desenho, performance e escrita, desafiando as fronteiras entre as linguagens artísticas e consolidando sua posição como uma das figuras mais importantes da arte contemporânea brasileira.

Ao longo de sua trajetória, o artista pernambucano desenvolveu um universo poético singular, marcado pela associação entre ciência, alquimia, mitologia e literatura.

The first contemporary artist and the first Brazilian artist to exhibit a work at the Louvre Museum, 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮 (1952–2016) worked across sculpture, installation, drawing, performance, and writing, challenging the boundaries between artistic disciplines and establishing himself as one of the most important figures in contemporary Brazilian art.

Throughout his career, the Pernambuco-born artist developed a singular poetic universe, marked by the interplay of science, alchemy, mythology, and literature.

Nesta quinta-feira, 11 de junho, com abertura das 18h às 21h, 𝗟𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗟𝘂̈𝗸𝗮́𝗵 participa da exposição coletiva 𝘕𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘮𝘦́𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢, na 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂 𝗘𝘃𝗮 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻, no Rio de Janeiro, com curadoria de 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀 e 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲.

Partindo das formas que atravessam corpos, vegetações, animais, espíritos e paisagens do continente latino-americano, 𝘕𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘮𝘦́𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 propõe pensar a imagem como território de pensamento, em diálogo com ancestralidade, contemporaneidade e com a noção de temporalidade ch’ixi, formulada por Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui.

A pesquisa de Luiza Lükáh se soma à exposição ampliando suas camadas poéticas e simbólicas, em uma leitura sensível sobre matéria, memória, paisagem e permanência.

Departing from the forms that move across bodies, vegetation, animals, spirits, and landscapes of the Latin American continent, 𝘕𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘢 𝘈𝘮𝘦́𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢 proposes thinking of the image as a territory of thought, in dialogue with ancestry, contemporaneity, and the notion of ch’ixi temporality, formulated by Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui.

Luiza Lükáh’s research joins the exhibition by expanding its poetic and symbolic layers, through a sensitive reading of matter, memory, landscape, and permanence.

Hoje destacamos a obra 𝘈 𝘦𝘴𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘩𝘢 (1983) de 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲!

𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲 (1947 — 1987) foi uma figura importante no grupo conhecido como 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰̧𝗮̃𝗼 𝟴𝟬, responsável pela reintrodução da pintura como destaque no cenário artístico da época. Sua obra se destaca pela intensidade gestual e cromática e pela referência aos movimentos modernos e contemporâneos, como a 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 e a 𝘱𝘰𝘱 𝘢𝘳𝘵.

Today we highlight the work 𝘈 𝘦𝘴𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘩𝘢 (1983) by 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲!

𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗲 (1947–1987) was a key figure of the group known as 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰̧𝗮̃𝗼 𝟴𝟬, which played a central role in reestablishing painting as a prominent medium in the Brazilian art scene during the 1980s. His work is distinguished by its gestural and chromatic intensity, as well as its engagement with modern and contemporary movements such as 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 and 𝘱𝘰𝘱 𝘢𝘳𝘵.

Chegamos ao fim da 5º edição da 𝗔𝗿𝗣𝗮, celebrando a repercussão do projeto apresentado pela 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮 e 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 no estande B7.

Agradecemos à Verve por mais uma parceria construída com diálogo e cumplicidade, aos artistas 𝗚𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 e 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗲𝘀 pelas participações primorosas, e à 𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 pela conversa realizada durante a feira com os artistas.

We have come to the end of the 5th edition of 𝗔𝗿𝗣𝗮, celebrating the resonance of the project presented by 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮 and 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 at booth B7.

We thank Verve for another partnership built through dialogue and complicity, artists 𝗚𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼 and 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗲𝘀 for their remarkable contributions, and 𝗔𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 for the talk held with the artists during the fair.
