✨ TouchDesigner Gemini Toolkit

As part of our effort to support the 2026 AI + Live Arts Hackathon, we developed the TD Gemini Toolkit.

The TouchDesigner Gemini toolkit is a streamlined bridge that plugs Google’s Gemini AI directly into TouchDesigner. This toolkit contains various TouchDesigner components that connects directly to the Google Gemini API, so that you can quickly generate text, images, video and audio directly within TouchDesigner.

🎭 AI Onstage: AI + Live Arts Hackathon

Last month we supported students in a 2-Day hackathon hosted by UCLA TFT and REMAP exploring the use of AI in liver performances and experiences.

Over the course of 48 hours, students learned TouchDesigner, designed original experiences / performances, and then rapidly prototyped their work for an awards showcase.

🎨The energy and creativity throughout the hackathon was incredible - we loved experimenting and supporting the student projects!

👾 upcoming TD POPs workshop

Friday March 6th we’re teaching a workshop at the New Media Caucus Symposium in Mesa, Arizona.

It’s an intermediate workshop where we’ll explore the POPs, point clouds, and interactive systems. There’s a few spots left — so checkout the bio for details!
