Yoho was given a very special mission by — who had been invited by Apple Music to carry out a project that is the dream of every Brazilian audio professional:
to record the Amazon rainforest and its incredible sonic richness.
The mission was to capture environments and moments from the forest with maximum immersion, aiming for a mix in stereo and Dolby Atmos.
To achieve this, we dove into in-depth research to find the best recording approach.
We chose the ZM-1 by .co — an ambisonic microphone capable of recording 19 channels simultaneously.
, , and formed the team that traveled to the heart of the Amazon in search of these recordings.
An incredible journey, planned by the team, who provided all the necessary support to make this project possible.
