Isn't love the main thing?
Love is love, no matter your gender or sexuality.
This is what I want to show with my art, to portray families of all types that have love, respect and pride in common.
When I started to paint I chose as my subject the photographs I had with my friends, as a gay boy it was in those moments that I could express myself more freely. Portraying my friends and those moments was a way to remember that freedom and feel proud of who I am.
I think it's very important to have objects that remind us of our achievements, our strength and the love we share. The couple Lucas and Leo chose to eternalize a trip to their favorite place, the Shanay-timpishka river in Amazon, the water reaches 90°C in some points.

Can you hold your memories?
This desire moves my painting
I love when my family gets together to look at photographs, remembering moments with people we love. When I started painting I used to portray these moments so they would last forever. I was able to improve the image by removing something or adding things and also saving them from the action of time.
I chose several of my memories as well as objects, pets and people, all pieces of the puzzle that I am today.
Today I also portray the memories of others, expanding my image repertoire and carrying forward that pleasure of looking every day at something we are proud of.
This portrait was a birthday gift from a daughter to her mother, both in the painting. The reference was so good that I didn't want to change anything about it, in some cases the setting speaks as much as the people themselves, bringing very powerful affective memories. After shipping, I received a video of the mother's reaction when she opened the package, it was beautiful to see her emotion when she saw that memory eternalized on the canvas.
