Warming up for the release of the debut album, PHANTOM STAR releases the single "Witch Hunt" - a song that takes you to a time when women were persecuted, tortured and executed often motivated by fear, religious fanaticism and social repression.

To help the listener delve into this dark chapter of mankind, artist Nelson Fontella took inspiration from the somber atmosphere of King Diamond and The classic obscurity of Black Sabbath.

"Witch Hunt" is the first track to feature PHANTOM STAR as a sextet, with Lucas Shred taking control of the keyboards, bringing new life and atmosphere to the bands' compositions.

The song is already available on the main streaming service and Bandcamp, and the debut album will be released on CD on June 20th by Classic Metal Records.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Introducing the artwork for “Witch Hunt,” the upcoming single from Phantom Star, created by artist Nelson Fontella.
Inspired by the dark and theatrical atmosphere of King Diamond and the classic obscurity of Black Sabbath, the artwork visually translates the terror experienced during the medieval Inquisition—a period in which thousands of women were persecuted, tortured, and executed on charges of witchcraft, often motivated by fear, religious fanaticism, and social repression.
“Witch Hunt” delves into this dark chapter of humanity to show that persecution has never completely disappeared. If before women were burned in public squares for challenging imposed standards, today they continue to be judged, silenced, and attacked for their freedom, voice, appearance, behavior, or independence. The hunt has only changed form.
Nelson Fontella's artwork brings the single's lyrics to life with a classic heavy metal horror aesthetic, blending graves, darkness, and symbolism representing centuries of intolerance transformed into Heavy Metal.
The track is the first to feature Phantom Star as a sextet, with Shred on keyboards, and the first official single from our debut album, to be released on CD on June 20th by .

Apresentamos a nova arte de “Witch Hunt”, o próximo single Phantom Star, criada pelo artista Nelson Fontella.

Inspirada na atmosfera sombria e teatral de King Diamond e na obscuridade clássica de Black Sabbath, a arte traduz visualmente o terror vivido durante a Inquisição medieval — um período em que milhares de mulheres foram perseguidas, torturadas e executadas sob acusações de bruxaria, muitas vezes motivadas por medo, fanatismo religioso e repressão social.

“Witch Hunt” mergulha nesse capítulo obscuro da humanidade para mostrar que a perseguição nunca desapareceu completamente. Se antes mulheres eram queimadas em praça pública por desafiar padrões impostos, hoje continuam sendo julgadas, silenciadas e atacadas por sua liberdade, voz, aparência, comportamento ou independência. A caça apenas mudou de forma.

A arte de Nelson Fontella dá vida à letra do single com uma estética clássica de horror heavy metal, misturando sepulturas, escuridão e simbolismos que representam séculos de intolerância transformados em Heavy Metal

The production of Phantom Star’s debut album at Heavytron Studios is now officially complete.

After months of intense work, the material is finished and ready for the next step. The band is currently in negotiations with record labels for the official physical release of the album.

Big news is coming soon — including details about the album and the first single, to be revealed shortly.

RAPOZA is on fire once again! After 4 years of the debut EP, the hard & heavy band returns with the powerful and catchy single "The Right to S*x". The song presents what the listeners can expect from the full-length album which will be recorded this year in Heavytron Studio.

The band is composed of veteran musicians Uly Freire (Hecatomb, Thou Shall Not), Renato Rieche (Doomsday Ceremony, Division Hell) and CJ Dubiella (Creatures, Hell Gun).
