Volunteering: A Driver for SDGs in Burundi 🇧🇮

Behind every figure in the initiative lies a human commitment.
These images illustrate the strategic contribution of UN Volunteers in Burundi.
This is more than just a field visit; it is a concrete contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals:

📍 SDG 8 (Decent Work & Growth): UNVs are transforming traditional farming and livestock practices into profitable micro-enterprises through rigorous technical coaching.
📍 SDG 5 (Gender Equality): By supporting women entrepreneurs, volunteers are breaking down barriers to financial inclusion in rural areas.
📍 SDG 1 (No Poverty): Every piece of advice on farm management secures a sustainable income for entire families.

UN Volunteers do not just observe; they measure, advise, and accelerate Burundi’s path to the Agenda 2030 toward emergence.
