The Forum on Strengthening the Culture of Peace in Central Africa and the Great Lakes Region concluded with the presentation of key regional orientations, pilot spaces and a preliminary portfolio of initiatives. Discussions highlighted the need to enhance partnerships, mobilize resources and consolidate regional cooperation to prevent conflicts, foster social cohesion and build lasting peace.

Le Forum sur le Renforcement de la Culture de la Paix en Afrique Centrale et dans la Région des Grands Lacs s’est achevé avec la présentation des principales orientations régionales, des espaces pilotes et d’un portefeuille préliminaire d’initiatives. Les échanges ont surtout fait ressortir la nécessité d'améliorer les partenariats, de mobiliser des ressources et de consolider la coopération régionale pour prévenir les conflits, renforcer la cohésion sociale et construire une paix durable.

Discussions focus on ways to consolidate continental cooperation, share national and regional experiences, highlight innovative practices, and strengthen partnerships that promote dialogue, solidarity, and the search for African-led solutions to the challenges facing the continent.

Le Burundi accueille, du 8 au 10 septembre, le Forum Régional sur le renforcement de la culture de la paix dans la Région d’Afrique centrale et des Grands Lacs. Les discussions portent sur les moyens de consolider la coopération continentale, de partager les expériences nationales et régionales, de valoriser les pratiques innovantes et de renforcer les partenariats favorisant la promotion du dialogue, de la solidarité et la recherche de réponses africaines aux défis auxquels l’Afrique est confrontée.
