Finito!!! Completed two 3D paintings in 3 days for Kaiserslautern, Germany
Painting 1 – Title: iDon-Key. Size: 30 feet x 14 feet.
Theme: The success and efficiency of any technology depends ultimately on the perception of its end-users and the way they decide to use it. It doesn’t matter even if you get a very powerful and advanced robot and you still tune it to be a donkey to follow your carrot. We saw the way the most efficient and powerful ChatGPT was restricted in many educational institutes just because it was used by a few students to prepare assignments and reports. While discussing AI and Robotics, we could see most of the discussions converging towards terminators and robotic world dominations rather than the advancements it can bring towards advancements in health care, agriculture, creativity, sustainable development and quality of life. It is us humans who need to evolve and cope up with the advancements and always keep the doors open.
Painting 2 – Title: Chip 4 Chips. Size: 19 feet x 7 feet
Theme: Our robot Mr.Chip is your personal butler who picks fruits from your garden and is on his way to prepare fruit salad for you. Its annual maintenance is due and you need to help him by replacing a faulty chip in his head so that he can continue his job. Technologies are evolving very fast and we have the temptation to procure and implement it in a fast pace. Once implemented, we are not focused on its maintenance and expect it to keep delivering the same results always. The painting is to stress the importance of setting both preventive and corrective maintenance goals.
