My dream come true moment as I visited the Keukenhof tulip wonders and one visit seems not enough to absorb the heavenly experience!! It’s ethereal and soulful experience. I clicked hundreds of pics as it’s impossible to stop the phone from not capturing the millions of beauties.
Keukenhof Gardens is located in Lisse of Netherlands, is the world’s largest spring flower garden, spanning 79 acres (32 hectares) with over 7 million bulbs planted annually. Known as the “Garden of Europe,” it is open for only eight weeks annually from late March to early May.

The first artwork of 2026 is the alter of Mother and Child. I started creating the base structure of the alter in August with first sculpting the arch and then the base with a place for light source decorated with hand sculpted roses. Everything handmade with air dry clay. I started painting the divine figures of mother Mary and baby Jesus a day before Christmas. And finally finished the entire work yesterday afternoon. Now completely varnished and ready to be shared with the world.
Why to create an alter? Because worshipping and being committed to our love lord is just not for one day of Christmas but for every single moment of our existence. It’s a permanent address where the light can be put on in the evening and prayers can be offered anytime.
I am so glad I could serve God once again through my art and certainly one more step towards his gracious and kind blessings.
Shall post more pics and videos soon. This can be placed on shelf and also on wall.

Art is a self discovery journey and I have stopped at many stations to create my journey more memorable. The stations were : embroidery, clay art, sculpting and new skills like glass painting and jewellery making.
Here are some of my favourite works of 2025 though there are many that couldn’t be fitted here.
