🚗 The traveling exhibition has reached its final stop!

On June 16, 2026, the traveling exhibition of the 6th International ExLibris Competition Varna will officially end its tour. The road was long, the stops – 11, and the meetings with the audience – priceless. On behalf of the team of the Jordan Petkov Art Foundation, organizer of the International ExLibris Competition Varna, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all institutions and partners who accepted the exhibition and made it accessible to their audience.

🏛️ Special thanks go to the "Yordan Yovkov" Memorial House - Dobrich, the National School of Fine Arts "Dobri Hristov" - Varna, the State Archives - Varna, the Municipal Art Gallery "Peter Persengiev" - Novi Pazar, the Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski", the National School of Fine Arts "Prof. Vesselin Stoyanov" - Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", National School of Fine Arts "Acad. Dechko Uzunov" - Kazanlak, National Art School "Tsanko Lavrenov" - Plovdiv, National Art School "Dimitar Dobrovich" - Sliven and Art Gallery "Dechko Stoev" - Pomorie. By opening their doors to this project, they helped the exlibris meet new audiences and gave even more people the opportunity to get to know some of the best contemporary exlibris artists.

🤝The exhibition of the International ExLibris Competition Varna has been traveling since its inception in 2014. We are grateful that since its inception the competition has been implemented with the support of the Varna Municipality through the Culture Fund, and the traveling exhibitions in 2024 and 2026 are supported by the National Culture Fund. We also thank the partners from the Italian Exlibris Association and the project implemented with the support of the European Union - NextGenerationEU.

And last but not least, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all visitors, pupils, students, teachers, collectors and friends of graphic art who visited the exhibition and supported the development of exlibris in Bulgaria. 🫶

Expect more exciting exlibris events this fall during the 41 FISAE Congress on 1-6 September in the marine capital of Varna! 🤍

На 16 юни 2026 г. пътуващата изложба на 6-ти Международен Екслибрис Конкурс Варна официално ще завърши своето турне. Пътят беше дълъг, спирките – 11, а срещите с публиката – безценни. От името на екипа на Фондация за изкуство „Йордан Петков“, организатор на Международен Екслибрис Конкурс Варна, бихме искали да изкажем своята искрена благодарност към всички институции и партньори, които приеха изложбата и я направиха достъпна за своята публика.

🏛️ Специални благодарности отправяме към Дом паметник „Йордан Йовков“ – Добрич, НУИ „Добри Христов“ – Варна, Държавен архив – Варна, Общинска художествена галерия „Петър Персенгиев“ – Нови пазар, Шуменски университет „Епископ Константин Преславски“, НУИ „Проф. 🤝 Изложбата на Международен Екслибрис Конкурс Варна пътува от неговото създаване през 2014 година насам. Благодарни сме, че от самото му създаване конкурсът се реализира с подкрепата на Община Варна чрез Фонд „Култура“, а пътуващите изложби през 2024 и 2026 г. са подпомогнати от Национален фонд „Култура“. Благодарим също на партньорите от Италианската екслибрис асоциация и проекта, реализиран с подкрепата на Европейския съюз – NextGenerationEU.
И не на последно място отправяме най-сърдечни благодарности към всички посетители, ученици, студенти, преподаватели, колекционери и приятели на графичното изкуство, които посетиха изложбата и подкрепиха развитието на екслибриса в България. 🫶

🚗 The touring exhibition of the 6 International ExLibris Competition Varna is making its second to last stop. On May 14th the exhibition will be shown at gallery NOVA in the city of Sliven, Bulgaria. The competition will be presented to the students and teachers of the National Art High School "Dimitar Dobrovich".

✅ The realization of this visit is possible thanks to the financial support of the National Culture Fund under the program "Creation and/or Distribution - Small Projects 2025". @последователи

When you decide to participate in the upcoming 41 FISAE Congress in Varna this September, it's important to send your completed Application form: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cYwoM_3Xdy3RfyakD6MNXMQa5y338ncD/view to our email!

When transfering the congress fee, you must make sure that you're transfering the FULL AMOUNT. If your bank charges additional fees for the transfer, you have to make sure that you choose the option where all fees are covered by the sender (often called “OUR”). If the Organizer receives an insufficient amount for the congress fee, you will be asked to pay the remaining balance.

Having a dedicated table will provide you with your own comfortable space throughout the congress, allowing you to remain seated and organized rather than moving between tables or standing while carrying your graphic materials and folders.

Table reservations also help us plan the layout effectively and ensure that we can secure the large, spacious hall at Hotel Cherno More. If the number of booked tables is insufficient, we may be required to move the event to a smaller hall, which would be less convenient for all participants - especially our valued delegates.

Accompanying person fee: 125 EUR
Exhange table fee: 45 EUR.

🚗 We are starting the exhibition calendar and the tour of the 6th International ExLibris Competition Varna with a visit to Novi Pazar! Municipal Art Gallery "Petar Persengiev" is hosting the exhibition for the second time, which will remain on the attention of the audience in Novi Pazar for a whole month until February 9, 2026.

As part of the presentation of the exlibris competition, Largo Gallery will show two more graphic exhibitions in Novi Pazar. In one, the audience will enjoy the mastery of the Ukrainian artist Konstantin Kalynovych. An extremely well-established author in the world of graphics and exlibris, a virtuoso of the classical techniques of etching, drypoint, mezzotint and aquatint, he masterfully depicts the finest, airy and unearthly elements in his graphic plates. His work reflects the idea that art is a way to simultaneously experience both the joy and pain of the artist, touching the depths of his innermost world.

The second accompanying exhibition will present 20 works by the Bulgarian graphic artist Hristo Naidenov. In their city gallery, residents of Novi Pazar will see a series of graphics by Naidenov, dedicated to the zodiac signs, created a few years ago at the invitation of a famous Chinese gallery. The exhibition is complemented by the latest works of the artist.
