🏆🎉🎬 International Animation Festival SOLEIL is very happy to present to you the face behind our Audience Award winning film - Someday again (Jeszcze kiedyś)/ Poland, 2025 - the director Kajetan Łukasz Pochylski.

🌟 Kajetan Pochylski is Doctor of Fine Arts, assistant professor at the Department of Visual Communication at the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. He is graphic designer, independent documentary and authorial experimental film director. Pochylski is recipient of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage scholarship in 2024. His films have participated in festivals in Poland and abroad, earning nominations and awards. In 2020, his film The Last Cinema (2019) received the Golden Spool Award at the O!PLA.

🤗 Dear Kajetan, thank you very much for sending your touching film to our festival! We are very very happy that we could award it with the Audience Award voted by our spectators.

🏆🎉🎬 Международният анимационен фестивал СОЛЕЙ с удоволствие ви представя лицето зад филма, спечелил нашата Награда на публиката – „Някой ден отново“ (Jeszcze kiedyś) / Полша, 2025 – режисьора Кайетан Лукаш Почилски.

🌟 Кайетан Почилски е доктор по изящни изкуства, доцент в катедра „Визуална комуникация“ в Университета по технологии и науки за живота в Бидгошч. Той е графичен дизайнер, независим режисьор на документални филми и авторски експериментални филми. Почилски е носител на стипендия от Министерството на културата и националното наследство на Полша през 2024 г. Неговите филми са участвали във фестивали в Полша и чужбина, печелейки номинации и награди. През 2020 г. филмът му „Последното кино“ (2019) получава наградата „Златна макара“ на O!PLA.

🤗 Скъпи Кайетан, благодарим ти много, че изпрати трогателния си филм на нашия фестивал! Много сме щастливи, че успяхме да го наградим с Наградата на публиката, избрана от нашите зрители.

Slideshow stood out through the evocative materiality of its archival assemblage, the intricate textures of its soundscape, and the meditative layering of its found snippets of history.

🌟 Special Jury Prize – Jump Cut - Corridor (dir. Winston Hacking)
Jury’s statement:
The jury awarded Jump Cut for its masterful fusion of collage and stop-motion that captures the chaotic pulse of modern media, using innovative techniques to mirror our overwhelmed digital reality.

🌟 Special Mention by the jury member Chris Robinson – High Street Repeat (dir. Osbert Parker and Laurie Hill)
Chris Robinson’s statement:
High Street Repeat received a special mention for its inventive mix of animation techniques that vividly trace migration and entrepreneurship through Britain’s evolving high streets, seamlessly blending past and present.
