Another album of joyful memories from the 2022 Musical Panorama through Brazilian History, featuring the closing concert, the fantastic musicians, collaborators and supporters. Never enough gratitude! Looking forward to new opportunities in a nearby future.
Concert n.5 closed the Panorama 2022 showcasing 6 living Brazilian composers performed by 6 outstanding Bulgarian musicians. "Concert Music in Contemporary Brazil" was held on December 5, at the concert hall of the National Academy of Music 'Prof. Pancho Vladigerov". Martin Pavlov (flute), Mihail Mihaylov (french horn), Mariya Chernookova (bassoon), Rosen Idealov (clarinet), Svetlana Ancheva (oboe) and Gergana Nestorova (piano) pleased the public and the composers themselves with their performances of works by Paulo Costa Lima, Liduino Pitombeira, Alexandre Lunsqui, Azael Neto, Paulo Rios Filhos and Harry Crowl. Gratitude to all of you for delivering such Brazilian music renditions with care and temper!
At the ocasion the Brazilian Music Archive at the NMA was enriched by donations of scores by composer Liduino Pitombeira and the 'Mathmusiccircle" work by Ricardo Bezerra, both from the State of Ceará, northeast Brazil.
