"Busca Lo Tuyo" has always been a deeply personal and emotional song for me — it kicks in into my life with the intensity of a Doom soundtrack. Both Eddie Palmieri’s composition and Cheo Feliciano’s vocals, which manage to be simultaneously smooth and rock-solid, make my soul feel like something inevitable is coming, to the point where the hair on my arms stands on end.

Since Cheo and Eddie are now grooving in a better place, I never truly expected to hear that classic tune performed live. Dancing to it was beyond anything I could have expected. A huge thank you to Nadya, the Son Con Ron orchestra, and the Salsa Polis festival for such an extraordinary experience.
