Iskra was born and raised in Lovech- a town in north-central Bulgaria where she graduated from the local School of Fine and Applied Arts. In April, 2012 she opened her own gallery in Sofia where you can find her original paintings and handmade jewellery. She is a conceptual artist. She tries different techniques during her career but always maintains an expression of herself in her paintings. Holl

ywood actor Rick Yune is an owner of one of her works. One year after the opening of the gallery she becomes an established jewellery designer. Her jewellery pieces appear in magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Maxim, etc. Iskra herself was on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in June, 2013. Working with high quality materials, “Iskra” is one of the most preferred luxury fashion jewellery brands in Bulgaria. The “Iskra” brand is becoming bigger and bigger every day. Half a year ago Iskra Georgieva created a clothing line incorporating details from her paintings and jewellery as prints on silk and satin garments. She also was nominated for 2013 Woman of The Year, in the category Fashion and Design. Maybe Iskra’s greatest success is her participation in the World Jewelry Facets Paris 2013 exhibition. Her masterpiece called “Savage Grace” was shown in Seoul, Shanghai and Paris next to designers like Camila Klein, Dyrberg/Kern, Andy Farrow, Jean Paul Gaultier, Chan Luu and Erickson Beamon. Iskra Georgieva cannot be categorized as just a painter or a designer because of her everlasting desire to reach new heights!
