THE CHILDREN OF TODAY – Pinkmetalpetal Production (Germany)
A science-fiction duet of imagination & resistance, that inspires people to step into a world where creativity and sustainability are connected. In a futuristic kitchen, two characters contemplate revisiting the past to spark change. They invite us to step through an open door into a non-capitalistic world, while revealing the strange addiction of capitalism. ✨ Drawing on the spirits of famous personalities such as Vaslav Nijinsky, Cleopatra VI and Jérôme Bel, performers Charles A. Washington & Ioli Kaskani blur time and identity. Through simple, hypnotic movements, they create absurd yet tender scenes where art imagines a future built beyond consumption.
Concept & music: Charles A. Washington
Choreography & performance: Charles A. Washington & Ioli Kaskani
Costume: Johanna Schründer
Technology & light design: Kristin Feldmann

Antigone” – Extra Performance at ALTER EGO International Theatre Festival 2025

Director: Petya Yosifova-Hankins
Performed by: Valeria Dimitrova
Music: Ignacio Carvajal
Translation (Bulgarian version): Maria Koeva
Simultaneous English translation: Zhuliyan Zhelyazkov
I am Antigone.
Not the one from the textbooks.
But the small, dark-skinned girl who believes she has no right to speak.
The one who stands up — alone — against Creon, against Thebes, against the world.
The one who thinks she will die, yet still refuses to give up.
“Antigone” is a rupture — between the world and the young being who still remembers what it means to want everything, now.
It is a rebellion:
of the girl who refuses to obey;
of the woman who won’t settle for crumbs of happiness;
of the human being who can still say No.
Valeria Dimitrova’s solo performance is an act of revelation, a wound, a resistance.
Petya Yosifova-Hankins’ stage sensibility and Ignacio Carvajal’s musical depth whirl together like a tornado — with Antigone at its core.
Tragedy is pure work.

CHLASS – Compagnie La Teneur (France)
How do our bodies react when the pressure rises – political, social, climate or simply the pressure of the company of another human being? SCHLASS, created by Chloé Beillevaire & Steven Chotard, is a challenge, a provocation and a joyful mutiny that raises questions about the notion of consent, the right to disobedience and anti-conformism. 💥 Between equilibrium and collapse, resistance becomes a poetic act.
🩰 Choreography & performance: Chloé Beillevaire & Steven Chotard
🎼 Music creation: Mathilde Proy | Additional music: LTIR – Chris Franco
🎨 Stage design: Florence Carron

THE BORDER by Grotowski Institute
Winner of The Scotsman’s Fringe First Award 2024
Nominated for the Brighton Fringe Excellence Award 2024
Balancing between performance, ritual and ceremony, THE BORDER becomes a rite of passage before our eyes – a moving image of eternity. Born from the story of Antonina Romanova, whose voice reaches us from the frontlines of war, the piece creates a new, intimate language for Those Who Are [Not] Present – a language that is no longer ‘barbed wire’, a language beyond the prison-the voice of humanity itself.
Texts: Antonina Romanova & Monika Wachowicz
Directed by: Jarosław Fret
Set & costume design: Monika Wachowicz (idea) with Jarosław Fret
Video: Maciej Mądry & Jarosław Siejkowski
Production: The Grotowski Institute & Body and Emotions Studio by Monika Wachowicz

“ENVY” by MOTUS Company (Italy)
in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Sofia 🇮🇹✨
We live in the age of envy: career envy, food envy, holiday envy, the “perfect life” envy. If you can name it, there’s an envy for it. MOTUS transforms this universal feeling into a powerful movement, revealing how comparison blinds us and distorts our vision—just as Dante described in the Divine Comedy- the envious wander with their eyelids sewn shut.

I Saw a Similar Desire in the Tumult (The Vice Versa of Form)

A fragmentary, risk-taking experience inspired by Witold Gombrowicz: theatrical songs, live scenes, readings, and recitals unfold without a single narrative. Words become echoes, dances stumble into rituals, poetry marches at an amazing speed, and the stage itself is thrown into a trial.

Directed & performed by the Argentinian musician and performer Javier Pittorino

ANTHRO – La Méthode

A raw physical journey from carefree movement to chaos –a life trajectory of exhaustion and transformation. The beast emerges as a symbol of marginality and otherness, yet reveals itself as an essential part of our own humanity. Anthro celebrates the different ones, the ones that are cast aside, those, who don’t fit into the boxes.

‘VIBRATION‘ by Rita Gobi Dance Company

This performance is life. Life told not in words but through the language of the body and dance. Two figures, burning in red and orange, move in an irregular rhythm of both attraction and repulsion – until the heart seems ready to tear apart.
