Some work stays with you because it feels rooted in the places and memories that shaped it. Some Time Before the End is one of those exhibitions, smart and alive in the way it turns where we come from into something artistic and something we can all think about.

With Krassimir Terziev (), Adelina Popnedeleva (), Missirkov/Bogdanov, Luchezar Boyadjiev (), and Nadezhda Oleg Lyahova, curated by Victoria Gyuleva () at Vaska Emanouilova Gallery (.emanouilova.gallery) in Sofia, on view until May 10, 2026.

What does home feel like when it stretches across cities and memories? In HOME, Ivan Kostolov brings together painting and drawing to explore this question through his life between Sofia and Berlin. His works take a look at imagined spaces shaped by nature, where scale shifts and familiar forms take on new meaning. Themes of distance, protection, and curiosity quietly unfold throughout the exhibition.

Now on view at Ausstellungszentrum Pyramide in Berlin, this exhibition offers a moment to pause and look closer. Many of Kostolov’s colors are made from natural materials gathered near his home, adding a personal layer to each piece. You can follow to stay connected to his work. For those who are curious and want more insight into his process and perspective, you can also read his recent interview for VIJ Magazine: https://vijmag.bg/bg/article/piksela-pigmenta

Mark your calendars for this exhibition, on view from April 11 to June 5, 2026 at Ausstellungszentrum Pyramide in Berlin.

Step into a world where art feels alive. In My Friend the Art, Egill Sæbjörnsson invites you to meet sculptures, projections, and forms that seem to move and respond to you. The exhibition explores art as something we live with and shape over time.

Now on view at Nordatlantens Brygge () in Copenhagen, the exhibition creates space for curiosity and reflection. You are invited to look closely, slow down, and even create something yourself along the way. For a closer look into the artist’s thinking, you can watch the interview via http://youtube.com/watch?v=6Uwmy8tJ-2Y&t=2s, or follow to stay connected to his work and process.

On view until June 7, 2026. If you find yourself in Copenhagen, this is an exhibition to spend time with!

What happens when art steps out of its frame?

In the workshop “How to Enter and Exit the Herbarium Box,” kids explored what happens when digital images leave their boxes and start moving in new ways. Inspired by Dagmar Schürrer, they experimented with bringing those images back and made their own links between digital and real spaces. A workshop full of fun, curiosity, play, and learning together. A big thank you to all the little participants and their parents, and Dagmar Schürrer () for being part of this experience!

The workshop is being held under a grant program in two sessions titled “Creating Bulgarian productions and co-productions in the performing arts sector and promoting them on European and international arts markets.”
