Number 3 from the beetle collection.

This one took a bit more patience.
I spent most of the time figuring out the color combination and letting each layer dry properly before moving on.

But as a Saturday morning project, this was perfect.
Slow pace. Coffee on the side. No rush.

I’m starting to see how this small series is coming together. One more to go.

Second beetle from the series.

I am definitely getting more comfortable with the process.
Filming feels easier now and the workflow makes more sense.

This one took around two hours in total.
Most of that time was spent waiting for the paint to dry and letting layers settle.

Still experimenting and learning.
But it feels like things are starting to click.

First experiment after finally setting up a phone stand.
Ink and watercolor on paper.

This is the first beetle from a small series of four
yes like the band.

I wanted to keep this one simple
strong blacks
minimal color
letting the texture and contrast do the work.

Once all four are done
I’ll release them as prints.

More process and experiments coming soon.
