Their work draws inspiration from Afro Cuban culture and dance in all different forms. They move with fluidity, intention and respect to the music which they will transmit to you in their workshops. We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s band will be and they will be coming in full formation of 11 musicians 🤯 The stage will be filled with amazing talent and energy, so get ready for an electric experience 💥

Mercadonegro is a salsa orchestra founded in the early 2000s, featuring musicians from all over Latin America. They have shared the stage with some of the best musicians in the world such as: Buena Vista Social Club, Carlos Santana, Metallica, Celia Cruz, Cheo Feliciano, José Alberto ‘’El Canario’’ and may more. Known for their salsa dura sound, they won’t leave your feet to rest and your shirts to dry 💦

Iva Iordanova is one of Bulgaria’s most accomplished artists internationally. She competed in The Summit Championship in 2025 and won in her division, she has been teaching workshops worldwide including being a resident at Empire Dance Studio in New York, she has been training in all different styles of salsa an bachata, she is the founder and choreographer of the all women’s team Las Generalisimas which existed in both Sofia and New York.

You will have the opportunity to learn from her and social dance with her at the second edition of Salsapolis from 6-8 of November 2026 😍
