Bel Lume has been entered into the LIT Lighting Design Awards, recognising the creativity and innovation behind the project. What makes Bel Lume special is not only the final installation, but the process behind it.

Developed through collaboration between architecture students, engineers, and lighting specialists, the project explores how structural form-finding and light behaviour can shape immersive public spaces.

Using reflective emergency blankets and carefully positioned internal LED lighting, the installation continuously shifts between transparency, reflection, and glow, changing with movement, perspective, and time of day.

We’re proud to support projects where lighting becomes part of the creative and architectural thinking from the very beginning.

The Darc Awards 2025 take place in London on Thurday April 30th, and our Turninn project in Iceland is shortlisted in the Structures: High Budget category.

The Turninn project brings together strong design and engineering from:
Liska ehf, Arkís, Eik Fasteignafélag, Exton Lighting, Pixera, and Vivalyte.
