Visiting European theme parks with our 7 year old & his grandma

were kind enough to let me get an on-ride of one of my rollercoasters: Rutschebanen on our visit yesterday. This 1914 "Scenic Railway" is so impeccably maintained and preserved that its an incredible experience to ride, especially the back row, which the ride operator was kind enough to point out to me! Tivoli is open 11-11 in August, which is quite incredible and does allow for lots of night rides, many of which were a walk-on yesterday!

After feeling like we've been in Denmark for a good chunk of time, it's time for home. It has been ace but I'm looking forward to paying less than £5 for *anything* 😅

Got to CPH ludicrously early for our flight (cos the EES/passport queue on the way in was 90 minutes.) Sailed through. Now sat drinking my last Faxe Kondi in peace 😌

If you come to Tivoli Gardens, the back row on the (2nd oldest coaster in the world) is an absolute must.

We're having a great last full Denmarky day here at Tivoli Gardens. It's open 11-11 (!!) so we're just taking a short break for some Mikkeller beer, fries & exercising our artistic talents!

Safe to say that Ride To Happiness remains my favourite spinning coaster. And now have bonus neck ache too!

Has anyone else done this insanely intense coaster?
