✨ De Wereldvrede is proud to announce that 𝑹𝒐𝒙𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒐𝒛𝒊, Head of Production at our company, has been selected for the 27th edition of 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑂𝑛 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑜𝑣𝑒, the prestigious European Film Promotion (EFP) programme for emerging European film producers taking place during the Cannes Film Festival (12–23 May 2026).

Each year, EFP selects 20 promising producers from across Europe to take part in an intensive networking and promotion programme, bringing them into contact with co-production partners, financiers and international press. Roxanne Sarkozi was selected on the basis of her strong track record, including her work as producer on Leonardo Van Dijl’s 𝐽𝑢𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑠 𝑄𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡 (2024), which won both the SACD Award and the Gan Foundation Award at Cannes Critics’ Week.

Roxanne joined De Wereldvrede in 2018 and became Head of Production in 2023. In addition to 𝐽𝑢𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑠 𝑄𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡, she served as executive producer on the series 𝑅𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑒𝑠. She is currently working on 𝐽𝑜𝑛𝑎ℎ 𝑊𝑎𝑠 𝐻𝑒𝑟𝑒, the new feature film by Nathalie Teirlinck, and is developing several new series and film projects such as Anke Blondé's 𝐻𝑎𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑠𝑡 (𝑂𝑜𝑔𝑠𝑡) and Pieter Van Hees' 𝐴𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑠 𝑜𝑛 𝐷𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑒.

We are immensely proud of this recognition for Roxanne. Her dedication, creative instinct and international ambition are a driving force at De Wereldvrede, and this selection is a testament to the quality of the work we build together. 💛
