The Heritage Library Hendrik Conscience has a collection that began in 1481. Today it counts more than 1.5 million volumes on more than 35km of bookshelves. The best place to put our scanners to use!

We used A0 format, so atlases, fold-out maps or floor plans and large posters were scanned with ease. One of the first works digitized was “A monograph of the felidae or family of the cats”, a beautifully illustrated work from 1883... with such a magnificent lions!

Look at all this beauty, we love libraries... luckily its our job to work with them and see to all of their digitizing needs.

With our scanners, the books can be at your fingertips at all times.

This is the Duchess Anna Amalia Library in Weimar, Germany, which preserves materials ranging from the 9th to the 21st century. It's just one of the many houses of knowledge that photographer Robert Dawson shot for his upcoming book, which documents a staggering array of libraries from the mundane to the spectacular. "Libraries are especially useful in this moment, because they’re open to everybody," Dawson says. "They can be a way for us to talk to each other. Throughout the world, they’re symbols of hope."

You never know whats hidden inside... until you take a good scanning setup possibly with professional digital camera (like here) and scan, scan, scan! You get also "the other" benefits... like saving the information forever. Cant recommend it enough!

This is just beautiful.

The page flipping system looks awesome, the software behind it too, but some of its core functions - like for example the feature that can flatten a page which has been scanned bent - are also present in the software in the scanners we offer 🙂

We were glad to help the foremost depository of Russian fine art - the gallery - in their digitizing efforts. Beautiful old manuscripts and many museum items were scanned using one of our favorite scanners EDS Gamma. Great cooperation!
