I’ve always been facinated by people who can make watercolorportraits. The truth is I can’t do it on paper so I wanted to try on my iPad. I’m actually pretty pleased with the result. What do you think? Got any feedback for this noob?

Ofcourse these are two completely different styles. But what I can do now is so much more. I learned different lettering styles and I think I grew a lot since I got an iPad. Since my options are totally endless!

It's my birthday! And I wanted to do something special for my birthday so I made something totally different than I usually do. It's more experimental but I really loved making this. I wish I could get a real cake like this one! 😍

She is one of my favorite Ipad lettering artists! She has an amazing colorful feed and even has a youtube channel where she uploads videos weekly. ❤️

If you are new to lettering on an iPad I would really check her out! She also has a lot of freebies on her website to start with. 😍

A few weeks ago I was talking to I was trying to motivate her to keep going. The week after I talked to a coach who asked me why I put so much effort in the marketing for my employer and not in my own instagram and social media. (I am a social media marketeer during the day). An other week goes by and someone very very close to me got very ill.

Those three things, made something switch inside my head. I started asking myself; “What am I doing with my life.” I realised that I lived my life in fear the past ten years. Never taking risks. Making decisions based on fear. Not living the life I want to live because I was scared. Because I had a massive fear of failure.

I started making a plan. “I’m gonna start taking my instagram and other social media, seriously.” And that’s what I did. I made a contentcalander, still scared, still not knowing what would be next. But I went against that fear. Because from now on my desire to live the life I want is bigger than the fear I’ve been living in. ❤️
