Hier is de voorlopig laatste aankondiging voor Unholy Congregation Pt. 8!
Vinterland komt naar Oudenaarde.

Het Zweedse VINTERLAND behoort tot die zeldzame categorie bands waar de naam alleen al genoeg is om aandachtig te worden. Een cultband pur sang, met een aura die door de jaren heen alleen maar sterker is geworden.

Hun passage op Unholy Congregation Pt. 8 wordt bovendien een exclusieve Belgische show, én een viering van hun legendarische album Welcome My Last Chapter. Deze plaat is ijzig, melodieus, intens en nog steeds even krachtig als toen ze voor het eerst werd losgelaten.

Eén kans om VINTERLAND in België aan het werk te zien en Welcome My Last Chapter live gevierd te zien worden.

Unholy Congregation heeft altijd plaats gemaakt voor dat soort uitzonderlijke passages: bands die je niet elke maand ziet, maar waarvoor je wél de verplaatsing maakt. We zijn dan ook bijzonder blij dat we hen naar Oudenaarde kunnen halen voor deze editie.

VINTERLAND is coming to Oudenaarde.

Sweden’s VINTERLAND belongs to that rare category of bands where the name alone is enough to make people pay attention. A true cult band, carrying an aura that has only grown stronger over the years.

Their appearance at Unholy Congregation Pt. 8 will also be an exclusive Belgian show, and a celebration of their legendary album Welcome My Last Chapter.
This record is icy, melodic, intense and still every bit as powerful as when it was first unleashed.

One chance to see VINTERLAND in Belgium and witness Welcome My Last Chapter celebrated live.

Unholy Congregation has always made room for these kinds of rare appearances: bands you do not get to see every month, but for which you gladly make the trip.

De derde band en wat voor één!
Esoteric komt naar Unholy Congregation Pt. 8.

Voor het eerst verwelkomen we deze Britse funeral doom/death metal grootmacht op ons podium.

Sinds 1992 bouwt ESOTERIC vanuit Birmingham aan een eigen universum waarin funeral doom, death metal en psychedelische zwaarte samenvloeien tot iets dat weinig bands hen nadoen. Traag, massief, desoriënterend en compromisloos.
Hun laatste album A Pyrrhic Existence dateert intussen van 2019, maar blijft een indrukwekkende bevestiging van alles waar ESOTERIC voor staat: lange, uitputtende composities, loodzware riffs en een sfeer die even beklemmend als meeslepend is.

ESOTERIC is geen band die je vluchtig meepikt. Dit is muziek die tijd opeist, de ruimte vult en live pas echt haar volledige gewicht krijgt.

Hun eerste passage op Unholy Congregation wordt er één waar we hard naar uitkijken.

ESOTERIC is coming to Unholy Congregation Pt. 8.

For the first time, we welcome this British funeral doom/death metal force to our stage.

Since 1992, ESOTERIC has been shaping its own universe from Birmingham, merging funeral doom, death metal and psychedelic heaviness into something very few bands can match. Slow, massive, disorienting and uncompromising.
Their latest album A Pyrrhic Existence dates back to 2019, but it remains a powerful statement of everything ESOTERIC stands for: long, exhausting compositions, crushing riffs and an atmosphere that is as suffocating as it is immersive.

ESOTERIC is not a band you casually watch in passing. This is music that demands time, fills the room and gains its full weight in a live setting.

Their first appearance at Unholy Congregation is one we are very much looking forward to.

KOLDBRANN komt naar Unholy Congregation Pt. 8.

De Noorse black metal band draait intussen al meer dan twintig jaar mee en heeft in die tijd een ijzersterke reputatie opgebouwd, zowel op plaat als live.

Hun laatste album Ingen Skånsel liet horen dat KOLDBRANN nog steeds scherp, venijnig en relevant klinkt. De plaat won bovendien de Spellemannprisen (Noorse Grammy's) in de categorie Hard Rock / Metal, een mooie erkenning voor een band die nooit heeft ingeboet aan intensiteit.

Hun passage in Oudenaarde wordt extra bijzonder: het is geleden sinds 2014 dat KOLDBRANN nog in België speelde.

Wie de band ooit live zag, weet dat ze niet zomaar teren op reputatie. KOLDBRANN staat garant voor een strakke, felle en bijzonder overtuigende black metal show.

We zijn dan ook zeer tevreden om zanger Mannevond eindelijk met zijn main-band KOLDBRANN naar België te halen.

The Norwegian black metal band has been around for more than twenty years now, building a rock-solid reputation both on record and on stage.

Their latest album Ingen Skånsel showed that KOLDBRANN still sounds sharp, venomous and highly relevant. The album won the Spellemannprisen in the Hard Rock / Metal category, a well-deserved recognition for a band that has never lost its intensity.

Their appearance in Oudenaarde will be a special one: KOLDBRANN has not played in Belgium since 2014.

De goede vrienden van Imha Tarikat keren terug naar Oudenaarde.

Na hun doortocht op Unholy Congregation Pt. 4 in 2022 staan ze opnieuw op ons podium — en deze keer komen ze gewapend met hun nieuwste album "Confessing Darkness".
Met die plaat bevestigt Imha Tarikat opnieuw waarom de band tot de meest bezielde en intense krachten binnen de hedendaagse black metal behoort: razend, meeslepend en doordrenkt van pure devotie.

Wie hen eerder live aan het werk zag, weet wat te verwachten: een energieke, bezeten show waarin elke riff, elke uithaal en elke uitbarsting recht naar de keel grijpt.

Wij kijken er alvast opnieuw enorm naar uit om hen op ons podium te zien los gaan!

After their appearance at Unholy Congregation Pt. 4 in 2022, they will once again take our stage — this time armed with their latest album "Confessing Darkness".
With this record, IMHA TARIKAT once again proves why they are among the most passionate and intense forces in contemporary black metal: furious, gripping and drenched in pure devotion.

Those who witnessed them live before know exactly what to expect: an energetic, possessed performance where every riff, every strike and every eruption goes straight for the throat.
