Our soloist Anke De Gersem, together with Juliette Gauthier, in a short excerpt from a chamber music recital featuring their own arrangement for two harps of Debussy’s Danses sacrée et profane.

Our co-founder, Marcello Masi, introduces Syrinx, Debussy’s haunting masterpiece for solo flute.

Inspired by the Greek myth of the nymph Syrinx, the piece unfolds as a free, intimate monologue suspended in time. One of the very first modern works for solo flute, Syrinx feels like a breath drawn directly from nature, unfolding sensuality and melancholy.

The work will be performed alongside Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Danse sacrale, in dialogue with Belgian harpist .harpist, for an immersive evening of color, myth, and sound.
