Op deze bijzondere avond brengen Luciana Elizondo (viola da gamba), Adriaan Severins (field recordings), en Guy Vandromme (Indiaas harmonium) het werk, waar Michael Pisaro-Liu voor het eerst field recordings integreerde in zijn composities, tot leven. Dit werk verkent de grenzen tussen geluid, stilte, het toeval en brengt de sonore wereld van onze omgevingen naar de concertzaal.
A room outdoors is een meesterwerk dat voor het eerst de harmonie tussen het veld en de binnenruimte verkende, een ervaring die de muren van de traditionele muzikale omgeving doet vervagen. Het concert is een eerbetoon aan het grensverleggend werk van Michael Pisaro-Liu.
