« Il Carnevale di Venezia in Belgio » unfolds as a vibrant dialogue between italian and belgian cultures where colour is both a language and a celebration. At its heart, Manneken P*s emerges not merely an emblem of Brussels, but as a playful ambassador rendering homage to the Venetian Carnival, a living world heritage emblem of “Made in Italy - Il Genio Italiano nel Mondo”. Surrounded by Harlequins and adorned with motifs and theatrical gestures, the compositon evokes the splendour, mystery and joy of Venice's grand tradition.
