A sneak peak in the studio of .malavia.sculptors

In this room they model the sculptures in clay. Often they first create a miniature sketch that they pass between them. From hand to hand.

No drawings, no sketches on paper. All is created by touch. And in a collaborative way.

A unique approach to sculpture. And as a gallerist I think that the most important part is actually the sense of humour that they have between them. Being in the room I felt the connection the artists have by the jokes. And even with my little knowledge of Spanish, much was understood.

📍Save The Date: 26 September for the opening of the exhibition at Dedrie Gallery Antwerp.

Send us a dm or an email if you would like to be there or to discover the selection !
