Throwback to 10 May 2026 ✨

An unforgettable evening with the Zemlinsky Quartet at the KBR Royal Library Auditorium in Brussels — Mendelssohn’s Octet Op. 20, Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht, and Walter Hus’s arrangement of the Prelude from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, with Brussels Muzieque artists.

We posted from Prague that week… and somehow never shared these Brussels night photos. Better late than never.

Tomorrow in Prague! 🇨🇿

We are thrilled to announce that Brussels Muzieque will perform tomorrow, Wednesday 6 May at 19:30, at the Municipal Library of Prague as part of the Zemlinsky Quartet’s 4plus chamber music series “Les smyčců”.

For this special collaboration, the two quartets join forces to present magnificent octets and sextets, offering a rich program that bridges **late Romanticism and early Modernism**. You’ll hear works by Richard Wagner, Arnold Schönberg, and Felix Mendelssohn.

The Zemlinsky Quartet continues its 9th season of the 4plus series, a project they founded in 2018 that focuses on self-curated programs and exciting collaborations with both Czech and international artists. This time they invited us — Brussels Muzieque — with:

- Nadja Nevolovitsch & Elina Buksha – violins
- Monika Mlynarczyk – viola
- Eduardo Tonietto – cello

Together with the Zemlinsky Quartet, we look forward to creating a wonderful evening of string music!

We can’t wait to share the stage with our Czech colleagues and bring Belgian-Czech musical friendship to life! 🎶
